Is it time for a qb change?

Sean White just can't cut it in this offense. We can't keep the middle opened up because they have no respect for White's running ability. Gus has had two appearances to the national championship game, both teams had qbs that rushed for over 1,000 yds. Too soon?

It's not Sean's fault that his receivers can't catch in the red zone or that the offensive line lets defensive lineman whiff right past them. This offense has a lot of problems but I don't really see Sean as one of them.

To who? The guy that doesn't know what down it is? Or the guy that scrambles out of the pocket everytime the wind blows and either gets sacked by a blade of grass or throws a pick?

I know you guys love Sean, but we would do better with JF3. He just fits, Sean not so much.

Why don't we just put KJ at QB? He has the same passing ability as JF3.
White is fine. He's not elite, but he's miles better than anything else we have.
Hopefully, Woody will be the guy next year.

I agree.
I did not think White was a problem at all.
And I am pretty sure our other option cannot throw the ball tbh.
And no matter what, I will take an ugly win. Defense still looking good. Maybe it is time to just get points whenever we can and lean on them.

I think he's the best we got. It's not coincidental that 3 separate coaches have deemed Franklin a liability with his arm to not start. I do think we need to find ways to utilize him but for better or worse Sean is our guy

Malzahn isn't oblivious to the fact that he is useless without a running quarterback; that is why Franklin was recruited in the first place. The fact that he isn't playing says all you need to know. No, we would not do better...because the fact that he isn't playing outright means that he sucks. If he didn't, he'd be playing...period.

Jf3's passes didn't look bad at all last week. I just don't see our offense getting any worse with him in the game, so why not give him a shot.

I think you're wrong. I think he's too prideful to admit he can't win without a running qb. That's why he wouldn't let JJ run that often, he just wants to show the world that he can go with a passing qb and its backfiring on him badly.
