Or is Bo the most polarizing player every to play for Auburn

He is, right now. And the main reason is because internet cowboys are emotional little girls inside and a lot of the do not know how to evaluate what is going on

He is not perfect but he is far from our problem right now.

Every year its the same thing. XXX is our problem, cant wait till he is gone.

Bo hasn't been given ample chances due to his looks. You can argue his name, yes. Anyone who claims that has low level intelligence.

Its def possible.. Mostly because a lot of people don't know shite about football so no matter what happens they just yell the QBs name.

I’m not blaming Nix for the loss. Def still can’t get the ball there all the time, but this was much more.

What I meant was the idea and mentality that we are still connected to the Gus’ tenure and mentality with Bo being front and center because he was so associated with him.

I think all the progress Bo has made this year is in thanks to Harsin and Bobo UNTEACHING all the bad habits Gus allowed all of his QB’s to develop. If Bo continues to get better, and stops yelling at his own damn players on the field, I’m ok with him winning the job next year. I still think DD has the highest ceiling tho and would like to see him get a shot.

I still see Gus at times when our players don’t execute. I don’t think we will truly have rinsed our mouths of his mediocrity for a couple years. I believe Harsin really knows what he’s doing and I’m not scared in the least going forward.

I have always been a big Bo fan and get so frustrated at times because we all know that he could be elite if he could get out of his head at times, and If the OC put him in better spots. Hell IDK

Yep. Campbells senior year was really unexpected. We had that talent in 03’ but I didn’t think he’d ever improve the way he did.

Sorry to dispute another "Never played the position rant again."

There have been multiple problems that have been cured with coaching. One issue was receivers that didn't know the routes or their position on the field. The majority of that has been fixed. But ....

When you receive a signal from the sideline to run a specific play ...The QB must know the signal, must know the play, must know the formation, must know the receiver package and where everyone is supposed to be. Because ...

If they are not positioned correctly, he has no idea where the receivers will be in the progression and what to expect while running for his life ....(consistent with this line)

While I agree some of the yelling should be toned down ...Throw yourself in the mix and understand ...if they run the wrong routes, while being out of position. Someone needs to be yelling at them. Because you play against the issue that does not forgive ...The Clock.

Reason why Harsin fired the kid from Troy.....

BoBo and Harsin told BO to become more active and more of a team player. Saturday that advice took hold. A little late to discover the trend ....But it was discovered.

Every TD, Bo was there to congratulate. Every trip to the sideline, he shined with the offense ....

BUT, all in all ....when the coaches screw up in play calls from up above ....How can the players be blamed for those failures?

Id be interested with the "Cant wait till Bo is gone" group.

What QB in the past 20 years for Auburn would you take over Bo?

I think we can all agree that Cam and Nick are off the table but who else you got?

He performs mostly pretty solid considering our poor OL and WRs dropping balls, etc..

The fanbase just blames him for everything. Yesterday, when he recovered the fumble (who fumbled the ball? Tank?), some posters were blaming Bo for the fumble. Some even assumed he fumbled the ball. I don’t think people actually watch the games. They probably just watch the first few minutes, then decide to watch other games, checking stats later…and complaining.

With Chris Todd at the helm we have probably only lost 1 game

I take that back. We probably still lose at psu

Last 20?

I’ll take Sr Jason Campbell over Bo.

But I like the improved Bo this year bc he finally got ‘real’ QB coaching. I would have definitely wanted him playing against Alabama. He would have help us win that one, I feel.

But I’m concerned he had to be told to be more involved with the team and provide more leadership on the sidelines.

We would be fricked without any of our starting QB’s in the last 20 years especially when one of the 2 best teams is left on our schedule.

We would beat USC and lose to bammer with bo. Let’s see if we can do it with someone else.

I would take Jason Campbell in 2002-2004, Cox in 2005-2007, Todd in 2009, Cam in 2010, Marshall in 2013-2014, and Stidham in 2017-18. (As long as Gus was not coaching them).

I would not take Cobb in 2001, Burns in 2008, Trotter/Mosley/Frazier in 2011-12, Johnson in 2015, or White in 2016.

So:
Twelve years I prefer other.
Six years I prefer Bo.

In Bo's defense, I don't think he has been utilized properly. 2013 Gus type O is his skill set. We have tried to force him into a Pro set (Gus and Harsin).

Screw that. No way I will agree on that

No way I would take Chris Todd. He benefited from a brand new offense that no-one had played against in our league. And the people who said Jason Campbell, Id take 2004 Jason but I think some of you forget how bad he was before that. Or were not actually around

Obviously Cam and Nick but I dont think i would take anyone else. Stidham count hit a wide open receiver and had happy feet worse than Bo.

Oh the years of Brandon Cox. One of my all time favorite Auburn players.
