until today i was completely absent from this thread
think it was because by then it was apparent that Sexton had already pulled the bait-n-switch on our dimwits in charge and foisted Freezus on us after dangling Kiff for the previous three weeks and i was too pissed off to post

I guess we can be glad he at least hasn't gotten caught hiring hookers.

I haven't paid for tickets to a game in 3 years, haven't bought any auburn apparel, and have missed even watching several games. This isn't all due to Hugh, I'd like to think it's mostly growing up and having better priorities, but he definitely is a big reason for the complete apathy and lack of motivation for the program.

Man, Greygoose and Auburn Tiger have some shite caked on their faces.

still kinda embarrassed i saw more actual games where Meathead and Freezus were the HCs (one apiece) than i did the whole time Tubs was there

And yet he is the one consistently winning games and on his way to a fourth 10 plus win season.

I have bought apparel, but the last game I attended was in 2014 against South Carolina. I do watch the games mostly because I am a glutton for punishment, and I enjoy the game threads.

Isn't that the game spurrier knew he wasn't stopping our offense and just said f it and went for it pretty much every fourth down and it almost worked and was much closer than expected?

quote:yes, and i was roundly ridiculed for saying TAMU would give us trouble the next week because our once rock-solid defense had gone to shite and SOS built a blueprint for beating us

save for two glorious weeks in 2017, that was pretty much the death knell for AU football
ok, now i’m depressed

Yeah i remember leaving Oxford in 2014 thinking we were set for a multi year run of competing at the highest level with Gus and that offense. The Texas am game was the next week, boy did that collapse quickly.

Yep, that would be the one.

That's what being an Auburn fan is about. Build you up just to tear you down. Its either the highest of highs (like kick 6), or the lowest of lows (4 & 31 etc)

Honestly it was all worth it. No matter how many titles our rivals win or whatever losing streaks we have no team has rustled more Jimmies than cam and Nick and kick 6 is the goat moment

I remember it the exact same way
