That’s where you’re wrong Thorne is seeing the field fine. WRs aren’t doing their jobs. Listen to tiger talk tonight you’ll see Hugh’s opinion

Agree there. Both can be true at the same time. Just like WRs and TEs aren’t doing their jobs blocking either. One play last week, all Luke Deal had to do was block his guy for a second and Ashford was gone for a 40+ yard touchdown. Cam Brown didn’t even attempt to block on most plays he was in the game.

quote:youre delusional. Robby had a sub 50% completion rate, worst qb rating in the SEC and has shown zero improvement in the passing game.
Ashford has a way higher ceiling than Thorne.

jvilletiger25, why do you love Ashford so much? He's proven to 3 different coaches he isn't college QB1 material. He's been beaten out in every QB race he's been involved.
If we were still running the wishbone he'd probably be a Heisman candidate but you have to throw the ball these days. Everybody holds their breath every time he steps back to throw the ball because no one, even Brother Hugh, has a clue what is going to happen.
If he were SEC QB material it would be glaringly obvious by now and it isn't.

Love? I just see him as the best QB we have currently, unless Holden can turn the corner. He was the best option we had last year as well.

Do you not hold your breath every time Throne drops back to throw? He has a pretty extensive history of throwing interceptions, and he has the weakest arm of any of the QBs.

Is it wrong? Chex, I’ve already owned you in this thread. Hasn’t Jang owning you for weeks been enough for you, or do you enjoy it?

I always think Thorne and Ashford are gonna throw an INT yeah

Chex, I’ve already owned you in this thread.

you have been a consistent loser when it comes to picking Qbs and that appears to not have changed.
eta: The number of pass attempts per game @ Auburn is the lowest amount attempted in any game ever for Payton Thorne.
also, 52 - 25 TD/INT ratio in his career
Robby - 7/7

Which is exactly what I said. You said prove it happened, which I did. Maybe you need to go to Zoolander’s school for kids who can’t read good?

Because they are afraid of his inaccuracy, weak arm, and being turnover prone.

At this point, you have to be trolling us.
That's the only logical reason to hang with someone who has lost every QB battle he has been a part of.
Ashford's legs are the only reason he's even part of the conversation.
The dude would probably be an All-American at receiver but he won't take one for the team.

The idea that coaches would just sabotage their carriers they’ve spent years cultivating, while they have millions on the line… but then just play the worst player at the most important position?
You’d have to be a stone cold retard to believe that.

Regardless of the bickering and "owning" folks above, that we have some SCRs on this board is not in question.
