Scratch Fairchild off the list. In another couple of years they are going to have tons of OL transferring out. No way that many guys sit on the bench.

Uphill battle once they offered and hit the gas. Really, really tough to get those north Georgia kids from UGA. He’s a really good kid.

Definitely, there’s no way the will keep all those guys happy for 3-4 years. Its weird how some of them preached they wanted early PT but continue to go to a stacked roster. Uga must be selling something reaalllyy good.

Auburn makes top 5 for 4* OL/DL Dietrick Pennington along with LSU, FSU, Clemson, and UGA.

Haven’t heard much on him. KN thinks we like him at OG. Clemson might be the favorite

Clemson and tOSU are shaping up to have pretty insane classes

That is nothing unusual. Both offer things to recruits that SEC teams can't match.

At one point, it seemed like most of OSU’s class were in the top 100

If OSU lands all of the recruits that they currently lead for (I know that that's not likely) they would have on of the greatest recruiting classes of all time (pending inevitable ranking changes)

Day and Dabo are debunking to stereotype of a traditional coach. Zero HC experience. Seems you need to be more in line with modern business philosophy than actually being a coach.

Day may be a superb coach (handpicked by Urban) but he fell into a gravy situation. Hard to know his value.

To his credit though he has not derped it up yet. Also the recruiting work they’re doing is their outstanding work even though the doors were opened a few years ago when Meyer was there Day & his current staff are closing the deals.

Doesn’t this apply to all HC’s ever?

I think what he’s pointing out is that both were primarily position coaches (both may have had a ornamental title of some sort) promoted to head coach from within to take over. Both kinda skipped the coordinator step (unlike Kirby).

Doesn’t happen often and the success rate is spotty I think.

My best attempt at the OL board right now for Auburn. Guessing they take 1-2 more

5* OT Tommy Brockermeyer
5* OT Amarius Mims
4* OC James Brockermeyer
4* OG Dietrick Pennington
4* OG Noah Josey
3* OT Rod Orr

We seem totally out on 4* OT Savion Byrd and 4* OG Terrance Ferguson.

Mims looks like a strong UGA lean but he’s not all the way there yet. Brockermeyers go to Bama, I’m guessing. Pennington and Josey are new names to track.

He’s kinda down their board, especially after the Fairchild commitment. UGA 247 mods rarely talk about him
