Stidham’s fumble was coaching?
Carlson’s blocked FG was coaching?
Williams, Davis and Davidson injuries during the game were coaching?
Stidham having an off night was coaching?

Look, all you melty motherfrickers. I’m not happy with the outcome and maybe coaches should get some blame, but to say Gus reverted and good riddance shows how idiotic you are.

UGA wanted this game more. Both their O and D lines played exceptionally well, and we looked like a team that has played two #1’s and another top 10 the period of a month.

There’s a big contingent on this board, The bunker and social media who want Gus gone and to get Petrino or Kiffen. frick THAT.

there is a reason that other fanbases laugh at our ignorance.

It’s not this game. It’s his history and the idea that we should empty our bank accounts and extend his contract because we had one good season that we already pay him appropriately for. If he’s not happy here then bye.

I don’t think anyone thinks we should fire Gus Malzahn.

I think some are wondering if they’d be upset if he bolted for Arkansas. I don’t know if I blame them for thinking it’d be better for Auburn in the long run.

But I do think Gus has earned his respect back to be excited about Auburn football going forward.

Three huge rival games in four weeks is tough, Auburn did well in that stretch, 26-14!!!

I dont think he should be fired but the real retards are the ones who are okay with paying him 6.5 mil a year. That is fricking Urban Meyer money. What has he done to earn that? If he wants to go to Arkansas and downgrade in every possible thing then let him go.

And I somewhat agree. I don’t want to give a huge contract to go 8-5 the next few seasons. I believe Gus over the last month showed a side both on and off the field that AU fans were excited to see. I think tonight was more the exception than the rule. Also, there just aren’t a lot of good options on market right now.

Our fans would be losing their minds over some of the losses Urban has had.

I don’t know. I’m just describing the situation. I also think this is indicative of college football as a whole. Everyone is afraid to flinch at these coaches yet their agents keep driving salaries higher and higher for doing their jobs. What is the point of a fricking contract?

He has been at Auburn for five years. We have won the West twice........this is while saban is in the midst of a run never seen before.

We have zero shot of bringing in a coach that could compare to that......at this moment. Plus, our recruiting class would crumble.

And this isn't coaching? Running a one armed kerryon all game? Not adjusting to the fact that they blitzed every single god damn play? Not running one more slant since the one play we scored?

I support Auburn. The uniform, the history, the players that are blessed to put it on. Sure as hell ain't loyal to some bipolar coach that's been here 5 years and is talking to a low tier school.

The most ill-prepared Auburn team I've ever seen for an SECCG, and I remember the 2000 SECCG crystal clear and well.

I'm sure as much Don Julio and other alcohols as possible can cover over every derp and mistake and horrible predictability though. Just ask the "real" fans who lack the capability for embarrassment.

contracts are just skyrocketing. You had better get used to it. Eleven years ago saban was given $4M a year. He was the highest paid college coach, and making more than most NFL coaches .

I don’t agree with this. Again if gus wants to go to Arkansas cause his feelings are hurt then bye. We will be fine.

One of my better ones.

Yes, I’m melting over people melting. But at least I’m coherent and have a well-thought our argument.

And as far as KJ’s fumble, it looked more like he lost his balance and was going down when the ball was stripped and it didn’t have to do with his injury. Could be wrong though.

Exactly. I'm not firing Gus. But if Arkansas wants to open Fort Knox to pay Gus, please let him go. I want no part of that bidding war.
