Caught a small limit on Guntersville today. Not sure how I finished. We struggled all day, but found them biting in the last hour.

Finished 4th in the Skeeter Challenge over at Russell yesterday with 16.5 pounds. That is a tough lake to catch a good one on. Had 4 largemouth and 1 spotted bass on Jigs and my red spinnerbait. $3,700 so not a bad payday for the weekend. That lake has kicked my tail a lot of times. Nice to get a good day over there

Which one of you neanderthals wants to come help spread mulch in my yard this weekend?

Well, Gville was tough on everyone apparently. My small limit was good for a top 20. My partner is top 14 on the boater side and I'm top 14 on the co-angler side in angler of the year. We caught all of ours on a rattletrap in the 4-6ft grass. My partner lost two over three pounds at the boat. He'd have gotten paid if he puts them in the boat.

Eufaula is up next. They should be super shallow by that time. Looking forward to swimming a jig all day or pitching plastics shallow.

Got some of that to do myself. I have 4 beds that need mulch. I may end up paying someone to do it this year. No time

I feel that. We have one massive bed that needs some love. Put down edging and some new evergreens this weekend so at least the difficult work is done.

For the first time I had folks deliver and install pine straw. Just not had time myself this year.

Wasn't that bad price wise at all

I have a friend who did that as well. I think I would go that route if I was staying here for a while. Too late now.

Me and the wife getting smashed tonight as a distraction from her aunt being placed in the ICU with Covid/Pneumonia due to low oxygenation and low bp. Her aunt is 50ish with no preexisting conditions and an elementary school teacher.

Send some Aubie board prayers if you believe in that type of thing, she is a sweet, great lady.

Absolutely. Sorry to hear, Buck. What’s the pulse oxygen? In terms of the bp, is she a smaller lady?

She is a larger lady, probably 5'0", 200 lbs...

She went to the hospital with first time BP issues of 190/110 and trouble breathing on Monday. Covid test was positive. They sent her home.

Thursday comes around, she goes back to the hospital. She presents with low BP 100/60 and low oxygenation 89%. Diagnosed with Pneumonia, nearly immediately sent to ICU. That's where she is currently...

Scary stuff... She has been all alone in the ICU for about 24 hours now.

That’s a big drop — that doesn’t feel great. The spO2 is close to where you start to feel uncomfortable. Glad she’s got care. She’s starting at a good spot with no previous issues. We’re praying for her.

Keep us updated please

Baby Teddy is gonna attend his first games this season, regardless of nonsensical mask requirements (starting with CBH's first A-Day).

TT, you got my number. We are way over due to link up! Holla at me, broski!

Thanks, Jones! I will keep you updated. She is still alert and responsive. My Spidey senses tell me that as long as she doesn't get placed in a medical coma then things are going to be okay! She is still fielding calls and texts, I feel like we are okay!

That sounds like what the guy who works with us had. He was a bad person to get Covid as he had COPD from Vietnam.

Wife dropped him off at the hospital because he was having a hard time getting his breath, dude was dead in 12 days. Wife never got to see him again face to face. They were married over 45 years.

shite just aint right man. That dude was in the military over 10 years, fought in Vietnam for the entire deal, got COPD from the agent orange.

That dude did not deserve to die like that. Just wrong

My son Jake and I got our first vaccine Wednesday. Going for the second on the 31st. Wife is already vaccinated. She pulled a few strings at the hospital and got us in. Hope you all are able to get it soon if you want it

Hope your lady friend gets better Buck. Phil talked with me by text up to 3 hours before he died. He was lonely and scared in the hospital by himself. I know how that feels from my little excursion last summer
