Pounded Main Channel IPA on the way home. Local brew to Guntersville, AL. Ate dinner and have moved over to Hayman’s Old Tom gin on ice.

Lanier, we need a chatterbait product out of you. It’s functionally replacing the spinnerbait on tour.

LOL. No. Spinnerbaits have made a major comeback the past few years. Chatterbaits are not spinnerbaits and visa versa.

I have over 6,000 spinnerbaits in process right now. They are not going anywhere.

Vibrating jigs are a big deal but they are not a big deal in my area which is where I focus most of my attention on. I can make you some if you want them though. I have some that I made for me to use. They work great. I just dont want to mess with anyones patent. Not my style and the only way to make a vibrating jig correctly is a direct connect. Cant do that for a while due to the patent..

No fancy beers...the dude's post above me is from Baldwin County, but Lady Fortuna doth spun the wheel of fate....moving to SC. Waiting on house being built and living in hotel. So Long Fairhope. Watching AU clips.

My son only wants to fish, and they say it skips a generation, Dad owned bait/tackle store in PNS, would rather enter data in a spreadsheet than fish, but son asking if he can be on the high-school fishing team. What about rooster-tails? I have an armada of fishing shirts (from dad) and only wear Aftco's. Fake it til I make it.

Let him. Its a great activity and will help keep him out of trouble. Its expensive but worth it.

Lots of metal boats on the final day on the Bassmasters today. I love seeing the metal boats making the tourney trail finally.

Burt,

See if you can find a local bass club to join that accepts no-boaters. We’ve had a lot of dads join our club over the last couple of years with their kids. It’s a fun way to learn how to fish and experience tournament angling.

Lost Key Bait & Tackle...Dad sold, but will still repair your rod tip (most likely for free)

I know how to fish, just don't like it, and can tie many knots. May have to change.

Rather rotund hotel desk clerk is looking pretty good right about now. Too bad I'm married.

Got a "War Eagle" at the Star Fort today, and moving to a town of 2k folks, and down the street is an AU grad.

Moved from Daphne to Fairhope about 6 years ago and swore would never move again, but here we are. Also, still drinking Alabama Corona's...Mich Ultra with a Lime. So far, very popular with the locals. This place is as backwoods as MS.

Winding down the weekend. Bought my last ever six of Dixie Blackened Voodoo (RIP) and worked on some rock n roll tracks at my guitarist’s place in Spanish Fort, came home and roasted some pork tenderloin for dinner, and settled in with some KY bourbon on the rocks - Quarter Horse, in a square bottle. Very smooth.

Simple pleasures are the best.

Killing a couple of beers. Had to go to Montgomery, AL with the wife today. She met with our state rep and worked with him on a bill to try and reign in the power of the Jefferson County Health Commissar. Very proud of her.

Came home and worked a bit on my day off. Ran my fastest 5K ever in a tempo run this evening. 23 mins. New max HR of 188. Kinda pumped about that at almost 50.

What's your email address? I've got a buddy that lives in ninety six that's also an Auburn grad. (He's waiting to get access to this board right now so he asked me to be this weird middle man to let you know he could give you the lay of the land in Ninety Six if you wanted.)

His username is NinetySixTiger

That's awesome. How long has she been involved with the legislature?

Caught a small limit on Guntersville today. Not sure how I finished. We struggled all day, but found them biting in the last hour. Knock the damn rod out of your hand throwing a res rattletrap. Fun weekend.
