Has the OP watched the same JJ I watched play? JJ will NOT flop!

I've watched JJ, just not when he's the man... There's a ton more pressure when you're the go to.. If he holds strong through the pressure our offense will be better than this previous season, if he breaks I just wanna know we have some damage control in place...

Sean White is a baller and will push Jeremy THIS year. I think JJ's experience wins him the job but I have no worries about Sean White taking over, if he has to.

Jeremy has already started 3 games for Auburn.

Go look at the games. He played excellent.

He will play the exact same next year.

Top 3 in the SEC.

This thread has the ghey.

If it looks bad, we choke and try to get the top draft pick obviously

Then we can draft Jacob Eason

I'm as confident in JJ as you can be for a guy who hasn't really had responsibility on his shoulders in big spots.

Which is to say, moderately confident.

Jason Smith won't be ahead of Sean White, IMO.

@ OP
Define flop?

For Example,
Could be we insist on playing Louis next year and JJ throws to Louis because he is the legit read and Louis drops it consistently. Is that on JJ?

If he is that bad and SW/TQ/JS can not handle the job, then we buy another ticket in the coaching lottery.

It is pretty rare for a back up to be better than the guy who starts in front of him. So if he does flop it should be expected that we will struggle.

Back ups playing as well or better than the starters happens but most of the time teams experience some drop off. OSU this year is an outlier example and they lost a game they wouldn't have lost with Braxton.

I expect good things from JJ. He has the skills from my perspective, the only thing we don't know is how he'll handle tight game pressure situations. I am cautiously optimistic.
