First, that would be impressive given the season we're about to have...

Second, do you feel we are still lacking high quality players? Can Freeze start winning with more quality players or have you given up on his actual coaching ability?

I have no idea what to expect from this program.

... it'll be because someone with deep pockets is assisting.

Yes. Hugh has brought in a few in his short time here but he needs more players to change the complexion of the roster.

Freeze is still selling the same message…

We need you to come make us better. You can come in early and contribute. It’s working. We made big moves with multiple recruits this past weekend.

So if we will chill with the attack on the players and coaches we probably hang on to most of the players. I’m not saying players and coaches are off limits from criticism I’m talking hate and discussing firing coaches.

I'm not wealthy, but even if I won the Powerball, I can't imagine I would ever waste a dime paying for players. I mean, if you own an NFL team, at least you get some sort of return on your investment.

I think his greater challenge this offseason will be transfers - identifying and committing to the portal being a thing he has to give it his all at key positions, and minimizing who transfers out because there will be a lot of pressure on our new, formerly high ranked players.

Compared to last year, no. At least not offensively. We are still a decently talented team. We are just severely deficient at the most important position.

Yup. And the people all offseason that thought surrounding a below average QB with talent was going to magically make him better are finally starting to realize that it doesn’t matter.

We have had 1 top 10 recruiting class and they're all freshman. I'd say we're still talent deficient. Should still beat Cal.

We are talented enough that we should beat Arkansas and Cal. We are bad enough we could go .500 if we dont bring the wood every game. We are young enough to have no identity so it appears we are playing without purpose. It appears Freeze is dead-set on getting his offense rolling like he wants it. But we are not talented enough on the field to get that ball zipping. The deficiencies at QB are obvious. KLS has done his part, but Robert Louis and Cam Coleman need to get going. The OL hasnt been great but they have not been horrible either. Talent really needs to mature or else its not talent at all. Koy Moore might have been a blue chipper but that does not mean he was much of a talent out there. The HS locals might be beating the drums of Koy Moore, but relative to the SEC peers, Koy failed to bring his talents to the field.

Kite is a questionmark. Anniston Alabama area has seen his talents but if he doesnt deliver he get's replaced or we get punked, whether he has more talent in his left pinky than the previous players combined or not.
