"We need Bo to be a little more accurate if we are going to win"

Fans need to face the reality that his accuracy is not going to get any better. Why would it?

Go back and look at the training camp and fall camp QB videos. Even in stress free no pressure accuracy drills he wasn't as accurate as Gatewood.

He's been raised to be a QB. You can work on his footwork. You can teach him to throw the ball away. You can work on not eyeing receivers and misleading the safeties ( which he already is pretty good at). You can't train accuracy into someone who has been raised and allowed to be slightly inaccurate his entire life. His throwing style is ingrained into his very being.

What you should be saying is, " we need the receivers to help Bo out and reel in some balls if we are going to win"

It's not the O line. It's not nerves or pressure. It's probably not even his footwork ( though throwing off balance certainly doesn't help). It's the way he throws the ball. You'd have as much luck teaching him to switch throwing arms.

I still think we can win plenty of games, with a solid group effort, and a little more air under the deep balls so the receiver can make the play.

what's funny, girl? He can't ring the target in practice standing still but you think he's going to put it between the #s in the game on a moving target?

okay, keep dreaming that he's going to magically figure it the frick out after 15 years of not being able to. I'm sure with the right mentor it will just come to him

Bo is more accurate. How much more, who knows. If only 10 percentage points less, and if Joey possibly offers 100 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD a game, would Joey be worth the start? We will never know. We cannot even get him to pass when we are up big.

He’s a true freshman adapting to the speed of the college game. He will get better with experience, just like everyone.

You’re a moron.

Because we’ve never seen a QB get more accurate over his career

You just think you’re born with accuracy or not? It’s one of the stupidest hot takes I’ve seen on this board

What does Nix have to do to end the Gatewood talk? Seriously? Throw for 309 and rush for 200? Jesus.

Our O this season is probably going to allow the questioning to linger...if we turn a corner and start stomping SEC opponents it will stop. The idea that we'd be significantly better with Joey is silly, but we probably wouldn't be much worse.

It won’t be immediate that he’s an accurate QB but he’s played 3 games in college. You don’t think his accuracy improves with coaching and new game realizations?

Every week I think we can't have a more ridiculous football take and yet y'all continue to show just how uneducated y'all really are.
