knowing what we know now with Tennessee interviewing every god damn coach in the US, who would you like to see us actually target for head coach?

Gary Patterson would have been my first choice in the last two coaching searches.

I agree arkie may be waiting to make an offer, but the recruits committing has me a bit thrown. Surely they are asking about that before committing and he has to be assuring them he'll be at Auburn...would Gus lie to a recruit in that manner? He doesn't even cuss.

Arky would have to be up around 7 million, because if Gus wins a SEC CG his contract is going up from here. HE is currently at 4.6 this year and slated for 4.85 next. I believe his buyout is either 1.5 or 2 million

Auburn's going to have to pony up at least $6M with a big buyout on both sides for Gus. This reeks of Sexton.

Schiano would have been a great choice before he got burned to the ground by Tennessee. Now you can't touch him.
