How was Malik a "Gus reject"? He was a Freshman at Auburn when Bo Nix was here. Would you have played him over Bo?
Malik Willis is not NFL Starting QB. He is playing right now because the Starter at GB is out injured. Im pulling for him big time because I watched him in High school. His coach in High School is my best friend.
We dont know what he would have been at Auburn because the program was not set up for him and we had a better QB on the staff already

Please, I just want one person to give me a rational explanation as to why we are worse in year 2?

Hell no. Nobody would have.
Fortunately we got a "Meyer reject" QB and had a offensive coordinator who knew what to do with him.

Hugh is neither of those two guys. He is doing exactly what he did at Ole Miss. Which will eventually end in disaster like it did at Ole Miss.

The point is, Gus did less with more, and Freeze did more with less. Kneejerk reactions 4 games into a second year with a depleted roster, riddled with transfers and true/RS freshmen starters is a sign of extreme desperation. We have YOUNG talent. It's going to take time to coach them up, and bulk them up.
