Chris Thomsen at TCU would be a good hire. Worked at ASU with Lindsey in 2016. He played at TCU, so we would have to probably give him a fancy title and more money to go along with the OL coach position.

Wanna be "insider" on 247 says AU will go after Clemson OL coach Robbie Caldwell & if he says no (which he expects) then AU will hire Memphis OL Ryan Silverfield. Take that FWIW

Happy Days!

I wish him the best, but he was the one coach I wanted to see gone. Our OL has been so inconsistent the last two years.

Who gives a shite? The moron that can scout his own talent, took 4 attempts to come up with 4 seniors on the OL and was the key figure in one of the embarrassing moments in the history of Auburn football an 11 sack game, is finally fricking gone. Go frick yourself Herb Hand

Marcello says Clemson source believes it's highly unlikely Robbie Caldwell leaves Clemson for AU

Not a surprise but man that would have been an exciting steal

Ryan Silverfield of Memphis has a good resume.

Caldwell was head coach at Vandy in 2010.

Does Silverfield have a connection to LIndsey. Both were at ASU but dont think they coached together. He was a assistant OL coach for Detroit before going to Memphis. This might be the best fit if we are to believe this is Chips offense.

The connection with Memphis is between Norvell and Gus.

Silver field has some ties to Todd Graham at ASU. He was there with Norvell for one year.

I got mixed feelings. I do think Hand got fricked some by shitty OT recruiting under JB Grimes but hard to not feel like he sucked at finding the right 5.

frick that Hand had a loaded deck and still couldn't figure shite out. He's been below average at all of his stops.

Hell yes JB is a great instructor and coach. He did get Braden Smith to AU and Golson to transfer. Those were the only linemen worth a damn and Hand didnt recruit them.

maybe you should ask yourself why those were the only two "worth a damn" when Hand only has two recruiting classes here, one of those where he had a month to recruit to Auburn.

Also, Casey Dunn played well this year.

You ever wonder why we started three transfers this year?
