Another year, same issues and always, it’s the offense. We all knew what UFs game plan was going to be esp closing the ends. Rhino, you say our game plan was fine? What was it? They stacked the box and contained the edges so an “offensive genius” would know to throw quick slants and dink’s to spread the defense. The middle was open but we rarely threw there. Our passing routes are high school and our players on the O side are not elite. The Oline sucks again. This is all on GM and I am tired of being embarrassed. This was a huge loss for the program and all eyes were on this game. I have never been on the Gus bus and am amazed that so many don’t see what most see.

our real issue, the one of major concern, is the lack of quality offensive line starters and backups.

Well yeah. We've all been discussing it for 2 years now. Last recruiting cycle we whiffed Billy on EVERY single top OL recruit on our board.

It's been a patchwork of having to play guys out of position the past 2 years. Injuries with Brahms and Troxell have set them back and the others have not developed at all. It is about to get really bad with the combination of not developing and the lack of recruiting.

I hate that play so much. It works when your opponent doesn't have fast DE's. In the SEC it is very hard to work consistently.

There are some good PA RPO's that involve pulling linemen, but usually it just requires a short pull. You aren't pulling the RG all the way over to block the defense's RE. That is a lot to ask against a crashing end.
