Turnovers, especially in crucial situations are never irrelevant.

They were irrelevant for the 4th and 31 play. They aren't the reason why we lost.

With Harsin we would have lost by 30.

Derrick Mason would not have rushed anyone. He plays prevent defense the entire game.

And neither really rushed they seemed to want to contain, which is what they had been coached all week to do, we even had a third non rusher spying milroe, this is one situation where we wanted milroe to run.

Agree 100%. Bama was going to get the ball back, regardless. Bama’s bad snap was J-H working its magic. Then we gave Melroe enough time to make himself a sandwich on 4th down, and here we are.

Truth. I think he could have stood there 10-12 seconds easily if he wanted to.

With that defense, he could still be standing in the pocket right now on a Monday morning waiting for someone to come open. We didn’t force him to make a decision. We pretty much told him to throw it whenever he was most comfortable and ready. It was a historically bad play call and whoever’s bright idea it was should have been fired on the spot.

I am sure people scratch their heads when I post, but even I am thinking what the frick? Why even take us back there? Do you need attention? Please be better than this. This is a complete shite-post and deserves to be called out for what it is. My 2 cents. WDE.

That was not Mason calling that game. I do not care if they lied and said it was.

I need to see an All 22 view of the play. I've seen another angle where you can clearly see Puckett gets sucked too far to the middle of the field. But DJ had plenty of time to "play with vision" as well.

Harsin would of had us down by 30 in the 4th so we wouldn't of had the opportunity to even screw up. So sure I guess you're right from a certain point of view.

Coach Dye is probably rolling over in his grave right now over that.

Yeah, Alabama 1985, Florida 1986, LSU 1988....

He played prevent in all of those and lost. He was notorious for never blitzing.
