Seeing as to how Malzahn reacted last night, I think he was let go last week and allowed to coach one final game

Thank god... I have been disinterested with Auburn football all year. Was afraid he did enough to stay longer.

I've never called for a coaches job, but it was obvious Gus wasn't moving the program forward. I do appreciate much of what he's done for Auburn and 2013 was one of the best years in my 38 years of watching Auburn football.

Assuming the reports on Green are true I continue to be impressed with him. I'd guess this decision was made some time ago and he handled it like a pro.
