Woe - whoa -or- woah ???

If it would have resulted his firing a bama loss would have not of been a bad exchange. Yep, said it, meant it.

Guy appears the be so lost. Not sure what he even does summer and spring, since you can't tell he's done anything till 3rd or 4th game in, good thing there's video of him being seen. Then he's good for another 3 to 4. And finally goes 50% at the end, when he nose dives and looks like he's been sleeping in again. Good thing there's a pad game in there or it'd be on par with his bowl-games skid.

Seriously,

Con - fused (why'd they extended it out for 7years, isn't that what you get with a shattered mirror ?)

PS. Kiffen would at least have gotten wins to go along with such recruits (and Saban tweets).
PSS. ... and not looked bad sitting on leads, hamstringing running backs, and suspected of only knowing two passing plays.
PSSS - and if caught pants down running around we could have him run for Gov'nor and not cost us a dime (and then brought Freeze in after his thaw). Both would have seriously better.

Good, Christian man

Dynamic offensive mind (when he doesn’t out think himself)

Has taken us farther than any coach in AU history (3 SECCG appearances / 2 Natty appearances)

More wins over the GOAT coach than any SEC coach

Pros- Can develop a lethal offense, always has a top 10 recruiting class

Cons- Can develop a Herp Derp offense, cant coach worth a shite in Bowl games.

I should go further into detail.

1-4 in bowl games, with losses in the Sugar Bowl, National Championship, Peach Bowl, And Outback Bowl (against an Athletic Director as HC after the HC left Team). The only win was in the Birmingham Bowl.

Pathetic. No matter how you flip it.

Pro. I generally like the direction of the program and recruiting seems to be pretty strong considering we have bama in the same state and Georgia to the right.

Pro: Spreads the field from sideline to sideline.

Con: can’t win big games on the road especially Tuscaloosa, Athens, Baton Rouge and bowl games

Pro-Has quietly pushed back against the Old Boy Network...appears to have won or at least created more independent space than any coach has had at Auburn since Dye created the modern version of the Old Boy Network.

Was this supposed to be an approval poll or just listing some pros and cons?

Honestly, I think Gus may be the best and worst coach we've had simultaneously. He has us recruiting at a level where we're going to be competitive every year but inexplicably loses games because he so hardheaded. I like where we are. We're not going to be picked to do much next year common which is where we shine

Yessir.

My buddy was hanging out with him at Outback tonight in Prattville. Said he wants to also bring his son there because he likes the area. I guess we will see.

Mentioned something about the CFL down the road...

I thought he was going to be the next guy at Prattville, who is currently looking for a coach.

Just what I was told last night.

Bobby is always hanging out somewhere in Prattville, whether it be The B or Outback.

If Prattville wants him, there's no way he ends up at Elmore County. They can probably pay him $100k a year compared to $65k at EC. Success there would probably get him onto a college staff pretty quickly too. I'm sure he will give up on HS ball after his son graduates.

Not disagreeing with you. Carr just got his degree and that was the only thing keeping him from getting the Prattville job after Dubose left.

Update: He currently has an offer from the CFL, but he wants to finish coaching here first while his son is still in high school. He wants the ECHS job, but I don’t think he has been formally offered. He wants his kid to finish school there, and then he wants to go to Canada.

He would be awesome at Prattville, too. I just don’t know how long he will stay at either.
