From Hoke:

“Greene said today at the Football Performance Center dedication that there are no plans for fan limitations, mask requirements or vaccination cards for Auburn football games this fall.”

He also said this

“It continues to change,” Greene said on Saturday when asked about football player vaccination percentages. He made the comment following a groundbreaking ceremony at the new football performance center complex.

“We continue to have student-athletes talk that they want to get vaccinated," he said.

Someone else can post it in the other Rona thread, I am not posting in it again.

I agree. I’m confident that I’m further left on the political spectrum than the majority of folks on here and am personally vaccinated, but I think this is a matter of letting adults be adults. There is enough data out there for people to decide if they want to get the vaccine, wear a mask, go to a crowded event, etc.

I get people being concerned about all of those things and if any of them worry you then don’t do them. Worried about the vaccine? Don’t get it. Worried about being around 80,000+ people? Don’t go. I feel like we’ve overcomplicated a lot of this.

Right, it's really simple. Let people do their thing, you do your thing, nothing to worry about.

Given you understand rights and freedoms, you clearly aren't that far left.

OK and what’s stopping them? Go to Walgreens.

This. The scientific and medical fields reaction to this has been so incredibly wrong it is absurd. The media doctoring and editing photos early on that actually had nothing to do with Covid didn’t help, but anyone thinking we were going to be able to get rid of this by any of the measures we took was a fool. It does a s always has functioned just like the flu in regards to how it spreads and how it acts. **note, I’m not saying it is as mild as the flu or anything. We just honestly don’t know because they are measured in such vastly different ways**

Considering it is a completely new virus that nobody was used to, it is absolutely smart to take precautions, distance when possible, and take your own precautions. Everything else we did was mostly pointless and did more harm than good.

Keep that shut in the other thread.

Never mind. I see now this has become the addendum to the other thread.
