Your idea of how the student section works stopped a long time ago.

Fraternities have assigned seats on the lower level from row 1-39 or so between the goal line and 40 yard line. They are roped off and the bleachers have a label stating which frat sits where.

Pledges are assigned the task of sitting together and reserving their own seats in the regular student seating

It's almost here

ETA: and no pledges yet for the first game day. What kind of bull shite is that? Sure those that have accepted will be informed what's in their best interest to do, but still kind of weird that they put formal rush off until so late.

Thanks. It looks like the student tickets got better. I think the best seats were around the 15 and then went around to the middle of the end zone for the student section.

Hey guys, quit talking about the game in this thread until we figure out student ticket transfers and frat seating charts. Thanks.

I might just get completely annihilated in excitement if Holland has seriously changed his ways and is serviceable.

I am really interested in our Safety play and how they slide / drive to the ball with the quick pass-attack.

WSU's starting QB from last season went undrafted...and will start Week 1 for the Bills.

Anyone think Frazier/Ford are going to get S/CB time this game since we're running dime?

Call it game week optimism, but I have a feeling Holland will be an average linebacker for us this year. Not sure how I feel about Sanders since I've never seen him do anything but bull rush every lineman he goes up against. Hopefully the new coaching staff has helped break that.

Also, the main thing about Holland is simply experience in communicating and lining up the rest of the front seven properly. That's something that's hard to work on in practice, but crucial in game situations. Which is why I'm not running to the top of JH to jump off just yet.

It's a little worrisome that we're even having to think about the possibility of two guys that just now got swapped to D in the past two weeks playing in the opener. I doubt we'll see them though.

Doesn't sound like they are in the primary rotations.

LINK

quote:

"You’ve got Holsey, Ryan Smith and Whitehead, so I think right now, it would have to be some kind of a three-man rotation," Johnson said. "Unless one of them got hurt, and then Kiehl Frazier will be ready to go."

quote:

Ryan White, another senior who started the season-opener against Clemson last year before falling down the depth chart, is next in line if something happens to Davis or Mincy.

Beyond White, freshman Kamryn Melton or redshirt freshman T.J. Davis would likely get a chance as converted running back Johnathan Ford tries to relearn the position.

"It would be Mincy and Chris Davis and Ryan White, kind of a three-way there until we knew we had to put one of the young guys out there."
