Apparently people at Carl Lawson's alma mater have been told by the AU staff that Carl will be in the starting lineup in the very near future.

Tiger Walk has been moved from its usual 4:00 (2 hours before kickoff) to 3:30. Coach Malzahn wants the team in the stadium earlier, for whatever reason.
Doesn't sound like this is a permanent thing, but I guess we'll find out next week.

Malzahn's offense won't reach full potential without hitting long pass plays... puts a ton of pressure on the OL, but you've got to be able to blow the top of the defense.
from what we've seen, it looks like Marshall throws a nice deep ball, and we should have some speed guys who can run it down. I'm sure we'll see a double-move or two Saturday night.

I mean, Malzahn has always taken a shot when he crosses the 50. Wouldn't expect that to change.

AU has had a long pass for a TD in each of Gus' three seasons during the first game.
I expect the same. Im really looking forward to the pump fake again.

Malzahn enjoys going through very detailed pregame run throughs.. It doesn't surprise me that he wants to move up Tiger Walk for the time being.
This allows me to go to Tiger Walk and get to student section gates on time woot woot.

I can't wait until Gus calls that pump fake, deep ball. That was almost as money as Borges can't miss wheel route to Carl Stewart.
