I would trade freeze for rhule in a second. Rhule inherited the same type situation freeze had and in 2 years sitting at 5-2. Recruiting 41 in 2022 and 2023 was #18. Currently sitting at #18 for 2024 in recruiting. Was smart enough to bring in a big time qb. His team actually seems to be getting better....ours not so much

This is such a dumb post. You evaluate a coach based on the success in the circumstances their program is in. Colorado was a dumpster fire when he took over. They are still a circus of sorts but he has the dudes bought in and playing good football.

Nebraska is 5-2, with both losses being to 6-1 teams.
They won 5 games in year one and already have 5 wins in year two (they realistically should finish with 6 or 7 regular season wins). That team won just 4 games the season before Rhule got there, and 3 wins the season before that.
They are clearly improving, even with a true freshman QB starting for them.
Rhule was never really a candidate for this job anyway, but I'm not sure what you are trying to suggest here. He is doing a fine job.

I thought it was time for Gus to go, but I hate that losing him eventually brought us to Freeze. "But, but, Freeze beat Bama!" Yeah, so did Gus. And Gus was 3-1 against Freeze too, so how much of an upgrade is this really? I mean, if Gus was given a blank check to work with, I can't imagine he'd be doing THIS badly right now...
