He didn’t have to throw the fricking ball. That’s why it was called on 1sr down. So if it wasn’t there he could get a yard or two and have 2 more downs to get a first.

I don’t know, but I played sports in HS and college. It did not matter the sport or coach, if we had a play that was a special play there were always contingencies. Whether or not players listens or executed was another matter.

IT was CLEAR AND frickING OBVIOUS that the pass was supposed to go to Thorne with the convoy he had in front of him. Bama player ran up and covered it.
Jarquez should have just tucked it and ran instead of trying to throw a 50 yd rope across the field like he was Josh Allen.
Not a bad play, bad execution.

Not really, thats about the time and place in the field that you'd run that.
But the execution by Hunter to just not tuck it was the downfall.
