Are stud muffins Jace Matthews and Wommack still visiting LSU this weekend?

Wiltfong said the Kelly firing hurts LSU with Mathews the most (of other recruits). Said Mathews will monitor what happens there next

Seems like Jase is still on board

Less concerned about this class than I am retaining the ones that we need already on the roster.

This is gonna be such a shite show with only the one portal window this time.

Jeff Lee and Cole agree that our recruiting position has gotten better thanks to Freeze getting fired.

If Durkin leaves then things could go sideways.

I'm to the point now, for continuity's sake, I'm pulling for Durkin to win the job outright. It would be nice to see the team come alive for the last three games. They didn't leave him a lot of room for error, however.

Did they talk about a reason for Freeze's drop in recruiting the past year?

I said in another thread I would play Deuce these last games. He will make mistakes, probably no improvement over what we have seen. However......

He will get good game experience.

He start will send a clear message to the team we are changing direction.

I think the current players would welcome the change and we could probably hang onto many of them.

Lastly, the current recruits, and the ones we want to flip would be much more open to us now.

Remember, Deuce is the one who turned the staff onto Chase looonnng before he was a five star.

Sounds like losing 5* Bralon Womack is likely if not imminent

Would suck considering how he has talked lately about the team, really sounds like he is already on it. Wouldnt surprise me though if he opened things back up at this point with how many schools are going to have new staffs. Hopefully we can either keep him or win him back whenever our new coach is hired.

Thanks for the heads up. We knew there would be fallout. Hopefully whoever gets the job can keep us from bleeding out...

I haven’t mentioned it here, but I have a close relative that works at AU, (only saying this now because he plans on leaving.)

He said the first two years he’d see Hugh at or around the complex 16-18 hours a day. Since January he said it was more like 4-6 hours a day.

Yeah, you could tell he was not into it.
