Always watched some running backs.
EJ Crowell and Jae Lamar.
Lamar is a bigger back. Has good not great vision. Has good feet and presses the line of scrimmage well. Faster than he looks. If he’s 205 now he could play close to 220ish. Has a strange upper body movement when in full stride.
Crowell is the real deal. He’s thick, fast, and a natural running backs. Hits the hole extremely hard, has good tackle breaking ability. Can run inside and out. I expect as more people watch him he will move up the rankings. Not sure as a reclassify kid how far they will move him up but I could easily see him as a top 5 RB this cycle. I have no idea where we stand with him. I need to see if I can get some information however that area of the state I don’t have many contacts.

They are both really good high school players. Dominating. My concerns is have they met their upside in high school? I’m not as high on them as the recruiting services but I think the staff likes them and if DJ wants them it’s good enough for me.

Can’t leave Derek Cooper out

I’m not he’s my favorite running back in the class but isn’t a “true” running back. If that makes sense. More of a playmaker that happens to play running back

Heard great things about Parker Pritchett. Most of our recruiting guys believe he'll be a 4* before this recruiting cycle raps up. High ceiling prospect According to them.

Parker Pritchett is the type of player for Auburn football. Looks like a great interior prospect

See other QB Evals on previous page…
Jared Curtis - Good Lord. Kid has it all. Big, strong arm, good mechanics, physical, plays not against elite competition but this kid could play in the SEC right now. Give his a spring and fall camp and he could legit be a starter and be solid. Definitely projects to be a super star. One of the most college ready QBs from high school I’ve ever watched.

Pritchett has recent offers from UGA, USC, FSU to go along with previous offers from AU, Bama, Tennessee, Ole Miss, and so on
Cole said he’s done a really good job with cutting weight and getting stronger. He would be a great addition

I support NIL going to him then.

JLee and crew said he reclassed and two days later attended our Junior Day.
He has officials set with us, bama, georgia and texas, a well sought after young man.
Corch, you are right he is a smooth runner, very good vision hitting the hole , angles, etc. At 205 as a sophmore, he is gonna be a load when he gets to college.

Interesting note, on the signed class. Broderick Shull was listed on the sites at six foot five and 275 lbs. I see he enrolled at six foot six and 310 lbs. Nice, very nice.

You know thats Travis Burgess. Vastly underrated. I hope we take him and focus on the rest of the class.
Posted on 2/10/25 at 6:25 pm to trinidadtiger
He is starting out rated pretty low.

Burgess has the tools. Needs some development in some mechanics. Run a true RPO in high school. He’s not the elite of the elite but is a good QB. After a year or so in college could be a solid starter possibility. I want to see how accurate he can become as a Senior in high school.

The Atlanta Under Armor camp should shake up some rankings. It’s probably the biggest camp for rising seniors.

Can he run the 40 making fast players look slow
