I would feel pretty good to me if we had something to do with them not playing for a title.

That was the whole fallicy of CFP committee. The Iron Bowl should have essentially been viewed as an Alabama loss. FSU's struggles kept them out, but Bama's struggles were merely anecdotal.
They should have not been in because of the IB - but I do agree it would have been awesome to have been the one to stick the dagger in.

They should have not been in because of the IB
It was head-2-head elimination and double jeopardy to allow Texas to murder them twice; instead of getting a possible new opponent.

I am so done with the ESPN and SEC schtick during the playoffs and for once looking forward to two hard nosed football teams without too many megastars duking it out. It also helps to not have to listen to the verbal diarrhea from Fbaum and the bammer radio hosts on jox for a change.
