Alpine I agree. I assume we will play multiple fronts. Base 3-4, Okie, Bear, and Base 4-3. I think that will be the key. However I do think Base 3-4 will be our main defensively alignment especially early to get the run fits figured out. After that it will grow depending on the opponent. As with most season DL and OL will determine if we are middle of the pack or up competing for a shot.

We will always have an Edge out there. So a base 3-4 will look like a 4-3 but the responsibilities differ from a standard 4-3. I think we are saying the same thing. Our 4 linebacker on the field will be 2 Middle backers, 1 OLB, 1 Edge. Edge in this scheme will be a WDE/OLB hybrid.

It’s wasn’t bad. DL has been thin though. It was thin last year. Charles Moore, the kid that ran to Ohio State, the jokester kid that couldn’t handle CRG, and more. Lot of stars and a lost cause.

Will say TJ has a big time arm. Excited about his future.
Also I watched as many videos as I could find and everyone seems to be working hard with one exception. Capers... Looks like he's just kind of going through the motions. I hope he's 100% but won't bash him to bad before I find out. But the lack of intensity on individual drills is not how you get better or help your teammates get better.

Recruiting is all about who you get on campus from HS and JUCO, and now through the transfer portal.
What you do once they get on campus is about the development.
We also have to consider we had a coaching change which resulted in some transfers.
