I don't think Frazier is gonna start. I really don't.

I know Malzahn has known him for a while, but Malzahn doesn't seem like a guy who picks favorites

I think it's pretty clear that NM is the guy. From what everyone close to the program is saying, I mean.

You have been on edge lately, man. I don't mean to sound like I have deep connections, but I've heard a thing or two from people who might know. As for more trustworthy sources, there has been chatter on NM being what they thought he was through different journalist/recruiting guys who seem to know what's up.

Per AUC article...

Uzomah said the QB's looked "spectacular" on Sunday. So take that fwiw.

"I was surprised with how well they threw it, to be honest."

Im trying to hold back what could possible happen if I prance into JHS on Aug 31st and Kile MF Frazier is announced as the starting QB for the University of Auburn

Uzomah is the man, too, so he knows what's up.

Uzomah is a sunshine pumper.

Im not trying to be a negatiger. But, every year at the beginning of fall practice, we always get the same stories. And I love to hear them but I will believe them on Aug 31st

You mean from what players are saying then don't you?

Because if the people were truly close to the program, they would know that the chatter from the coaching staff before fall camp started was that KF was the frontrunner out of spring and it was his position to lose

To be fair, I honestly can't ever remember any player actually saying anything to the effect of what Uzomah is saying. It's usually some sort of coach speak where they don't really say anything at all.

Maybe not word for word but every year we hear how hard everyone is working. How its a new attitude. Same old talk.

I want to believe it but I need to see it first.

Makes it sound like they haven't been throwing the ball well and he has low expectations of them.

I HIGHLY doubt that's what they were saying behind closed doors... Frazier may have had the better overall spring than Wallace, but I just find it hard to believe an offensive coach thought (much less said) it was 'his job to lose'.

I really hope it's NM. KF's biggest problem to me isn't the ability to throw the ball or run, but that he just doesn't have the mindset, or to be quite frank, the balls to be a starting QB in college football, let alone the SEC. I'm hoping NM doesn't have that same problem.

Then why list him and Wallace as co-starters?

Marshall is going to win this job, no doubt

Players and writers, yeah. I hadn't heard anything about KF being close to the front runner.
