I think if you’re not openly calling for Gus’s job, preferably in every thread, then you’re just glad to be here.

Just my opinion. Tired of you freeloaders

I believe you have to start every post with a Gus jab as to stay in the club though.

"With Gus calling the plays, there is no way we wont run on first down up the middle"

"With our stupid coach, our defense will probably start to lay down because the offense sucks"

With Gus at the controls, we are a 6-6 team every year"

Etc.

Wait, I thought people who were 6’4” weren’t built for the RB position.
Thank, you.

If he really is 6’4, that’s a big ole dude at RB.

He can be our 4th Quarter Derrick Henry.

SIAP, but Cord got the same # of reps as JG & Bo yesterday.

quote:

All three quarterbacks — Nix, Gatewood and Cord Sandberg — were given equal reps, around 28 snaps apiece.

Anyway, any word on Mark-Antony Richards? With DJ hurt, is he making any noise?

Tom Green
@Tomas_Verde
Fun fact I stumbled upon tonight: Kevin Steele will be Auburn’s first fourth-year defensive coordinator in three decades(!), with the last being Wayne Hall (who entered his fourth season in 1989)

How many fourth-year OCs have we had in that stretch? I'm guessing roughly 1*.

*ETA: Al "Gorgeous" Borges survived to year 4 in '07, but not much longer

DCs haven't stayed because of Gus's offense.

Is that how it is done?

Turns out there was a reason for this.
Minor lower leg surgery. No details available but he’s questionable for Oregon. Not expected to miss a lot of time

I didn’t realize he was that tall.

He is about the same size as Henry was coming out of HS. Henry got up to what like 240lbs or something crazy.

Dang. This is why RB depth is important. First DJ, now MAR.

Both should be up and going by the end of the season when we’ll need them most. Joiner back at RB and allegedly looking good there helps until then

Bama has the same problem. They’re down to Najee, Brian Robinson, and the freshman Robinson which isn’t necessarily a feature back kind of guy. Sanders is probably done for the year after an injury

I think MAR was either a redshirt or special teams guy this year.. There are just so many other people ahead right now it was going to be hard to find playing time this year. The good thing about being deep at RB is we can let him fully heal before deciding anything.
