Marcello says according to his insider Harold Joiner’s 65 yard TD run wasn’t the only thing he did well.
He was also running defenders over and falling forward when tackled.
Hell yes. If he ever learned to use his size properly, he was going to be a stud. Looks like he has really stepped his game up.

Generally, they aren't.

No, you read he played soft, which he did in HS.
I know this because I was the poster that said it

I don’t think it was you, TBH.
At least I don’t remember it coming from you.

One of them definitely was me. I've watched about as much of Joiner play as anyone. I was very excited we finally did sign him because athletically, he is a freak.

-plays soft
-avoids contact
Are a few terms I remember people saying about him. I’ve never seen him play in person, but on tape he looked like a shifty runner who happened to be 6’5”. With his frame, he could be a nice blocker for our young QB’s as well. Nice report to hear about him.

Ok.. He's tall. I see someone say he's 6'5", his bio says he's 6'4". and his HS recruiting sites said he was 6' 3".
There were a lot of taller RBs in the NFL who were good, Larry Csonka, Eddie George, Eric Dickerson, all were 6' 3".
I just want to use him the best way to make plays. Get him the ball i say...

We really need someone to step up and take the Chandler Cox role to heart. I know he got some backlash but they dude did the dirty work.
Was rewatching the LSU game from last year and he was fricking shite up most of the game. Same with the Texas AM game. That is no easy position to take on

Its something cool to say. I have seen zero people who have had that attitude.

When you really dont have anything meaningful to say, you just say the cool things

Think it pretty clearly is implying some fans are satisfied with the job Gus is doing at AU. However I think there is clearly some room between not wanting Gus head on a stick and thinking he's doing everything perfectly.
Gus has been fine, some of the pressure he now has is deserved, but I think it's reasonable to have hope in him becoming a great coach. He's genuinely close imo.

I was guessing that is what it was, but I wanted to give someone the chance to explain to make sure.
Right, which is why it was pretty confusing
Our program isn't anywhere that would make a fan just glad to be here.
They also aren't in a place where a fan should be batshit crazy negative in every post they make and shitting in every thread.
I did get this though so I can start posting cool shite.

He is a football 6'4 so probably more like a little over 6'3, but that doesn't matter much. As I had mentioned in the recruiting thread about him, in HS he would generally just juke around people or run around them. It worked very well because he is so athletic. The concern once he got to college was would he be able to consistently lower the shoulder when needed. It just wasn't something he really did in HS, because frankly he rarely needed to.
Sounds like he is playing exactly like I hoped he would. The best part of his game though, is that if we only use him at RB, we are going to be drastically under-utilizing him. He is a more athletic Charles Clay with a RB mentality. Very dangerous in this offense.

Yea, Im certainly not satisfied where we have been the past few years, I just understand some of it. Im certainly not a person in general who loses my head over every little thing, I try to put reason in my thinking.
I do get the frustration. We all have it at times but some of that frustration is warranted and some of it is not.
I am afraid this season will make people melt to the ground though. The recipe is there.
