In fact, it was a struggle for Joey Gatewood and Bo Nix to get much of anything going on offense during Auburn’s first preseason scrimmage inside Jordan-Hare Stadium.

The offense scored two touchdowns, combined, but the first-team offense was dominated by the first-team defense, which forced three-and-outs and picked off three passes (all by Nix) during the 84-play scrimmage, sources told Auburn Undercover.

I think things have been changed since then. Most reports are now saying 2 INT's and one fumble.

If this is true from someone on AUC then our 1st string OL looks even worse this scrimmage...

5. Here’s the bad news for the offense to me: Brown and Davidson both had under 10 reps. So the O-line was dominated by the second guys as well.

So lots of conflicting reports on how the OL looked then. Wonderful

Gus said the defense dominated. That’s a strong term for a guy who is normally very vague.

That and Tega blamed the OL blunders on the weather for getting the best of them. Subtle hints that they probably had a rough day.

The last 4 pages of this thread is a great read

Guys posting "insider info" on a closed scrimmage

Guys melting over said "info"

Guys making fun of guys melting over said "info"

Guys questioning the melting over the "info"

One guy telling guy questioning the info he can leave if he dont like it ( The new Boss)

Two guys in a bitch fight / possible Sonic rendezvous (Yours truly / Jville)

In the end, nobody knows a damn thing more than they knew this morning

Cant wait for tomorrow.

Can’t be any more wrong than the initial reports. Go for it.

A dramatic retelling of today’s posts by the only guy that got into an internet confrontation during the middle of it all

Awesome.

C is still a weak link for us imo. Kim isn't that good and Brahms hasn't been good enough to pass him yet. I trust Grimes to figure things out though. Also the team has had to practice indoors a alot so far so I'm sure the heat was a legit factor.

Lanier said it earlier, but the biggest takeaway from today is probably the continued injuries from impact players.

Not much is going to matter from these scrimmages if the injury list keeps getting longer.

ere’s more, for those that like the stuff after the comma

Nix had a better day at quarterback than Joey Gatewood we were told, but with the officials blowing the whistle any time a defender got near a quarterback it stopped plays that were probably far from over

Man, yall are going to be so upset when Bo is named our starter

Muh Goatwood!

Some bad news is that Seth Williams was pulled out of the scrimmage after a few plays. No official word but someone watching said potentially a hamstring issue.

If there is one player that they can't afford to lose on offense, it's Seth.
