Hope you're wrong but if so.... Perry Thompson to the rescue?

Hopefully just a painful sprain if true. I've had plenty of those, a few weeks back to full speed. Hopefully nothing more than that.

I'm kind of shocked at how half speed these fall camp practices look. Yes, I know they're not in full pads, but still...

I mean, these are generally warmup drills that aren't done full speed, so that shouldn't be surprising. The beat guys aren't allowed to really film during any of the good stuff.

Hoke reporting that KLS left the practice field with a hurt ankle. He hobbled off. Not sure how serious it is.

At least it is early in camp. If he was able to make it off without being carried/carted, probably a sprain. Hopefully not a high ankle one, but if it is just a sprain, you'd think he should be fine, maybe miss week 1 or something.

Interview with Sam Jackson. He has some good things to say about the young receivers and that Thorne consistently knows where he’s going with the ball.

Who is throwing? Doesn't look like #1 on the jersey...

Maybe? I've never known a coach that wants you going 100% game speed during warmups or technique drills.

N King says he worked out inside today but it's not thought to be major and he should be back soon

also......For what it's worth, the quarterback order remains the same behind Payton Thorne in the second week of camp: Holden Geriner, Hank Brown and Walker White. Geriner had a nice day throwing the ball.

Yes heard the same.

Thorne and it ain’t even close
Holden looks good in shells throwing
Brown very inaccurate early in camp. Has some technical flaws in this throwing motion. Way too much side arm contributing to his inaccuracy.
White coming along well. Still behind the others but closing the gap. Has cleaned up some of his mechanics. Still wouldn’t not expect to see him on the field this year unless they try to sneak him in at the end of a couple blowouts or something.

I wouldn’t even pencil in Holden as the potential starter for next season. Long long way to go until then

These 2 notes from NKing caught my eye

All indications are that, between the offense and defense, who "won" practice has been split evenly so far in camp. Auburn's staff hopes that makes for a fiery and competitive scrimmage Saturday.

* Speaking of which, Monday in particular was a big day for the offense, which threw for nearly 500 yards in 11-on-11 settings over the course of the day. Things have obviously been extremely RPO-focused, but Freeze does want to spend a good chunk of time within the next few days focusing on standard dropback sets within the playbook for third-and-longs. Auburn's staff feels those plays were not well executed last season at all.
