Man in here using logic about the O line situation and not jumping to conclusions with the little information provided. Stop that lol

Just because he’s more positive doesn’t mean he’s using logic.
He speculated just like the others are speculating

Don't correct him. I like his version better

Or perhaps Faulk and Amaris are feeling their oats so they flipped big mon over there and said, put on your big pants and bring it.

Freeze stated in his presser yesterday that the OL is what is worrying him. No one is speculating or jumping to conclusions. There have been 2 open scrimmages A-Day and last weekend. The OL especially the left side got their asses whipped and has been atrocious in the run game

Here is what we do know.
Perry is better at pass blocking. In fact, before he started at MsSt they used to bring him in on 3rd downs for that reason.
During Aday we continually ran the ball left. Some on the game thread even complained that we were repeatedly running left with little success. It was because it was "a practice" and as such they were seeing if we could get some push on that side of the line, judging from results, we didnt.
Now we have a fall scrimmage and Freeze says "Im concerned about the line". What has not been mentioned, he followed that up with "Im not sure where we put Wade".
Next practice Perry is flipped to the right side of the line.
The aforementioned would lead one to believe Corch is right, there is some genuine concern about the line. Maybe its complacency since the same five have been starting since spring, maybe its just communication. Who knows, but you dont start shuffling the lineup this late in the process for no reason.

Hearing the live periods yesterday in the scrimmage was fiery. Sounds like the OL was fighting back. Not sure if there were scuffles but heard J. Wright buried someone right at the whistle.

Also hearing there is serious consideration of rotating OL this season especially early in the season. Something like 50 snaps starters. 15-20 backups. Excluding Lew as long as Thorne is in he will be the center. Not sure what positions they are considering rotating wasn’t that detailed.

That's starting to become more of a thing so I'm not shocked by that. As many snaps as they play, if you have good back ups, its good to get them a bit of a rest.

Saturday’s scrimmage notes?
I only heard both Hank and PT threw 2 touchdowns a piece.

Haven't seen much. It was pretty closed off so doubt we'll get much info unless anybody knows anybody that was actually there.

Hank Brown has officially been named QB2 by Freeze.

Fact Check: actually true this time

Going to be the tallest guard ever

Im guessing he’s a pretty expensive guard, as well. It also sucks for Wade, because his NFL future (if there is one) is on the inside.

Not a big surprise. Is there a consensus on why Holden hasn't been what was expected?

No, but my own intuitive understanding from reading scraps and pieces over the years is it takes him a while to make a read.
