Yes. All of these recruits will pan out, none will transfer and in 4 years, we'll be loaded with all of these loyal 4 and 5 star players. The portal hasn't affected the game at all. Retarded indeed.

Recruiting is how you win in college football.

YOU. NEED. TO. MAINTAIN. MOMENTUM. The only way to do that is to succeed on the field.

Which is exactly why Thorne is still the QB. I think Freeze's pitch is working though. He will lose a few recruits maybe, but people are noticing that his recruits are the ones performing. Jarquez is performing well, and he represents...Coach Friend, but other than that, Freeze is showing a youth movement, and if his offense gets right like it was headed (3rd in the SEC in yards per play) then I think we can weather the losses.

That's not saying "recruiting doesn't matter". Do my words have too many syllables?

Oh, they needed MORE players to hold an 11 point 4th quarter lead vs injury-riddled Oklahoma playing backups?

They need players to beat Cal? Does Cal field NFL talent and 5-stars or something?

You can deny it all you want but you just put it in writing.

What?

Jang, you’re making a fool of yourself, as you would say, staning so hard for Freeze.

Auburn has huge holes and Freeze’s recruiting is filling them.

Yes. Even Thorne is a bridge QB.

So who is the QB next year? Throne is gone. Lets pretend that the blue chip killer from ND does not change his mind and comes. Who will be the QB next year and how do you see us doing with a brand new guy back there or does the QB whisperer finally go for a experienced transfer?

If he fails again in the portal, who will be the guy next year. Brand new shiny guy with no experience?

We go hard at the portal until either Walker or Deuce are ready.

I really wish I could get it. So many people here would be the worst general managers alive but think they know what they’re doing.

Well, that’s something we definitely know Hugh has experience doing.

Filling holes.

According to jang, it's imperative that we lose every game with Thorne this season. It's vital for our long term success. Under no circumstances should any other QB be given a shot. Our players will lose all hope and our recruiting classes will fall apart if we don't lose out with Thorne.

And then he'll call anyone who disagrees with him retarded.

I dont understand why that was not the plan the past two cycles? If he fails again, next year will be a throw away season as well. How long do you think Hugh can last by continuing to live by "next year"?

To be accurate, he buys the holes to be filled
