I'm telling yall We got scouted. Someone found our tendencies. Could be as little as riding Keyshaun Hall on the opposite arm. He is certainly getting to the FT line much fewer times.

The fricking selective amnesia of some folks here for frick’s sake lol. I have had good times as an Auburn fan (Cliff dweller) and suffered our lowest lows too.
As much as it sucks, part of the cost of Bruce in advance was giving his son a shot.

Yeah he definitely stopped getting the whistle but honestly it is mostly deserved. Foul merchants are horrible for basketball

Get the frick out of here with this bullshite. Yes, Bruce was the best thing that's happened to Auburn basketball and brought us to heights we haven't seen before.
But the people who have terrible memories or just started watching basketball are the ones who are acting like we never had success without Bruce. I grew up watching us make 5 straight NCAA tournaments in the 80s (young auyushu was very sad when the 83 Barkley team got upset by Richmond, and was ecstatic watching the sweet sixteen and elite eight runs). I also was a cliff dweller during my time at Auburn and watched Ellis build a solid program.
Did we suck between Ellis and Bruce, yes. Should we run our program into the ground because Bruce built us back up due to misplaced gratitude to him? Hell no.
Steven won't be fired after this season (and shouldn't be). But if he doesn't do a massive turnaround of the roster and make the tournament next season he needs to be fired.

The program isn’t tanked, arse. We all knew this roster sucked. Bruce definitely knew too.

It has been one season but what is there to inspire any confidence it's going to get better? Team has quit, discipline has been an issue, roster will need another complete overhaul, boosters are cheap and we'll have to pay a premium now with a coach with red flags and no reputation to fall back on, atmosphere is terrible. There's always a chance but the writing is pretty much on the wall.
