Prior to the game KenPom had us lower than the NET ranking. But KenPom and NET get very close towards the end of the year.
KenPom is very good in their offensive and defensive efficiency numbers. Just a tool bro. Nothing more nothing less.
The NET is the actual rankings the committee uses.

Why anyone good would come here to play for a second year coach that no one respects is beyond me. I’ll be stunned if our roster improves next year.

At the end of the day, we have not won enough games to merit a bid.
We are also playing worse as we go along.

The roster might have problems but the record down the stretch against the worst teams in the league is all coaching.

How are we still having this talk? We know SP helped recruit those players.
Bruce told them the budget, the kind of player he wants and how he's going to build the roster and they go find a whole list a players who fit that criteria. Then Bruce signs off on a group he wants to pursue. Yes, SP recruited them.No, SP did no build this roster with his vision in mind.. It was build based on what Bruce wanted.
We will find players.. plenty of decent basketball players who will take the NIL or want to play in the SEC for a chance to get noticed a go pro. That's not a question. The only question that will matter.. will the players we get actually play like a team and mesh or will it be another year of 11 individual players.
I'll know we are serious about roster building when the Lior Bermans and the Blake Muschaleks of the world no longer play real minutes for us.
