Did not watch a single play

I had a tee time.
Checked score a few times.
Let me guess:
1. We struggled to stop the run
2. They did not turn the ball over.
3. We had red zone issues.
I watched last week because I had early tee time. Today’s kickoff just did not work for me.
I used to plan my day around Auburn football. I had season tickets for awhile. Now I check on it, and watch if it does not interfere with my plans.
I wonder how many fans are sort of of this mindset under the “6-4 is a solid year” 7 million dollar man?

Yes. Bo can only move the ball by unscripted runs. We didnt try and stretch the field with our two talented WRs. Our defense looked like one a FCS school fielded. Gus let out a boom on a missed FG.

Watched first quarter. Met my brother and nephew for lunch. He graduated from Auburn like me, but also played from 94-97. Didn’t watch a down.

Gus has made us apathetic.
I gave up hating him, now I truly just don’t give a shite.
If 6-4 is a solid season for a 7 million dollar coach, why should I even bother building my day around attending or even watching a game. Gus has done it, he’s made a large segment of us less interested in Auburn football.

Spot on.
Welcome to Fieldgoalville.
There was some inspired individual efforts by Bo, Worm and Tank, but Gus's game plan was AWOL. Opening 'drive' lasted a full 43 seconds. 3 plays and out.
aTm scored the last 17, unanswered.
It's a miracle we made it as close as we did.

I didn’t even know they were playing. Came in and saw the last 8 minutes. That was more than enough.

Allen Greene better damn well pay attention too.
Apathy is *way* more dangerous to the life of a program than anger.
Anger means passion. Anger means you still give a shite.
Me? I've actually watched on TV only a game and a half all year (Bama and the 2nd half today). And that was a game and a half too many.
It was a waste of my time and did it make me angry? Nope. Pretty much turned out exactly as I expected.
Just meh.

Me either. I was wrapping Christmas presents and got a text from my son about the game and I was like oh? Auburn is playing now?
And, since all I was doing was wrapping gifts, I decided to turn the TV on for the 2nd half to watch happen exactly what I expected to happen to a Gus Malzahn-coached Auburn team.

I watched every second. Painful, but I still watch, always.
I'll watch the rest of the games Gus is here, if able. Hopefully, I'll watch the next coach, the next generation of players, rinse and repeat.
I love Auburn and I guess I'm a little masochistic. The lows makes the highs extreme. Maybe someone is rounding up the cash, who knows? That's well past my pay grade, unless I hit the powerball.

Yep. Hard to get motivated to watch a game that you know you can’t win or if you do manage to win, it’s due to some miracle. I’m done.

Couldn't give away my 4 tickets so we went. Left at halftime. Ate lunch at Amsterdam Cafe and went home to do yardwork.

Gus has been protected by COVID in many ways.
People have lived without attending games this season by and large.
Will all season ticket holders return enthusiastically?
I doubt it.
I’ve been to games every year since I moved back to Georgia in 2006.
I will probably go to a game again sometime, but I don’t see season tickets as part of my future.
Gus’s predictability and blandness has created apathy in many fans.
I use to build my fall weekends around Auburn football. I doubt I’ll build any weekend around it while “diamond to the field, Seth to the boundary for a jump ball, inside zone after a first down, red zone cripple” is at the helm.
Maybe the stadium will revamp with reduced capacity, chair seating with cup holders, and some legit amenities. If not, JHS light not fill up every week.

I am in the same boat. As long as Gus is the coach I really couldn't care less about college football.

Gonna have to say deer hunting has been pretty legit this year.
