The rumor is that he's been playing with a knee injury which would have hampered him at the Combine (if not been flagged during the medicals).

I wonder how this impacts DL recruiting for the rest of this cycle? Does the DT from Mobile (UT commit) lose his chance now? Does Charles Moore see this as a plus/minus? The next few weeks will be interesting.

Realistically a DT has little to no chance to make a significant impact in his freshman season. At best they develop into spot players. That being said they all think they are going to come in and start these days. I could see it hurting this season, but if he gets drafted it will help in the future. I will always take a bird in hand over two in the bush...Brown is a known quantity.
