What. The. frick.

Did Gus create the plan?!? Steele what the hell did you see that everyone else did not?!?

Bama is doing exactly what all the tendencies showed... running and throws at or behind the line of scrimmage... all of this seems to be catching us off guard.

Usually we take a series or two to settle in. Not this game. We don’t seem to have an answer for whatever they are doing.

Their WRs are just better than our DBs. Not sure what our game plan should be for that.

Shocked our DL is getting pushed around tho

Our DB's haven't covered anybody all year and bama has the best receivers we have faced all year. If we had put more players in the box to stop the run and pressure the QB, we would have been destroyed even worse buy those receivers.

Our DBs were a major disappointment. I knew they wouldn’t receive any help because we still lack an elite pass rusher, but the game looked little too familiar to Cooper and Ridley going off on us. DBs weren’t even in the same zip code as the receiver at times.

Our DBs this year were built to stop the run. Shorter and more stout, they are all mostly very good at tackling. It is what it is. Same thing happened against UF, they aren’t very good in coverage. Bama exploited us at our weakness.

Mac played extremely well outside of the first pick 6. The second pick 6 he was absolutely hammered on the throw, and we hit him a lot he just did a good job of getting quick passes off. That’s a damn good offense even without Tua.

The plan was to try and take away their best receiver which going into the game was not Waddle. Did not work.

Zakobe McLain won Athlon Sports national defensive player of the week honors.

I imagine Brown made a great case to win SEC defensive lineman of the week as well which would tie up his competition with Davidson at 4 a piece.

We simply didn't have the speed to keep up with Waddle in the slot. Covering slot receivers has been a problem for us. Cost us the Florida game too.

Waddle is like a Tyreek Hill clone.
