Not a political topic. I listen to Dan's radio show quite a bit. It's entertaining and informative to me. That being said, he talks up Auburn basketball on almost a daily basis. Does he have ties to Auburn? I know he's from Queens, NY, but he's definitely a big fan of our Tigers. Anybody got any insight?

Yes, I believe is daughter (?) is a student at Auburn. He was at the Tennessee game I believe.

He tweets out WDE a lot and calls Bruce a personal friend. I am guessing that is his only Auburn ties.

Thanks. I haven't heard him say that he had any ties, just that he's a big fan. It's nice to hear our team getting positive press from a nationally syndicated personality, and soon to be, Deputy Director of the FBI.

This Queens, New York born and raised yankee can’t express in words enough how much I adore our brothers and sisters in the South.
I spend a lot of time in God’s country of Auburn, Alabama and each and every time my heart leaves full of joy and hope.
The spirit of love for God and country in the South is infectious, and you can’t help but smile as people greet with you a “sir” or “ma’am.”
I wasn’t born here but I’ll always consider this my adopted home. Hope you’ll have me.

Dan is the man. It was a year before he came out that his daughter was as at AU. He hinted at it and some of us figured it out that she was at AU.
But no doubt Bongino has fell in love with Auburn. And like I always say if you love Auburn, Auburn will love you back

I don't know him personally but he seems like a really great guy. I really enjoy his show. Very down to earth guy, and very smart. Lot's of common sense.

Ah ha, that explains why, when he got the asst director FBI position, Bruce tweeted out "congrats to my good friend" I wondered what that was about. Thanks jang.
