He plays a lot? He has 32 carries in 4 games.

Good for him - this guy rode it out for years and is now touching the ball a handful of times per game in a completely broken offense.

Anyone criticizing him for looking out for himself is a complete fricking idiot.

Crazy that all the teams we played looked about as dysfunctional on offense as we did. Oklahoma 24 points, aTm 16 points, Georgia 20 points. Most offenses I've seen this year look bad.

You see players on the other teams quitting? Nope? Alston can leave, don't care.. Leave. I have no care about these paid players anymore. They're just employees.

Cobb beat him out of the position and he can't handle it.

For three weeks everyone on here was complaining about the Oline play (ranked top10 preseason btw) and how they are the problem for our offense. Arnold holding on to the ball for 20 minutes doesn't help.

You can pin a lot of crap on Freeze. He isn't good. But the players seem to suck too don't they?? How many incompetent plays? How many penalties per game this year?

Amazing one of the top WR groups in the country can't get open worth a shite. I watch us play other teams, and their WR get open. Ours can't. What does that tell ya?

I hate Finebaum, but the guy has sauces... I just want my program back to where it belongs. I fricking love Auburn, y'all, and this nightmare is fricking with my emotions

with respect to the WR's. I think they're just running the routes as designed.
the scheme does them no favors. so many of them involve running to a spot and turning around, either deep or shallow. pretty easy to cover. they would probably be better off if the QB said "just get open"

Woah there pardnr. Brent Fullwood finished 6th in the Heisman and was taken early in the first round. I watched Brent play, Cobb aint no Brent Fullwood. That backfield we had in his time Cobb never would have seen the field, we was ballin back then.

I’m not sure if this has been brought up in this thread but this is what happened with Damari.

After the game Saturday night he was yelling at coaches/players/staffers.

Keldric Faulk stepped in to chill him out, Damari didn’t like it and Faulk basically tossed him across the room.

He met with Hugh/nix on Sunday and offered to take a redshirt/still run with scout team/help the team out in practice and still be paid his NIL money. Hugh told him that the team needed him on the field and asked Damari to sleep on it.

Monday rolls around and Hugh had talked with the NIL folks and they basically said “we’re paying him to be on the field he needs to be on the field.”

Hugh tells Damari that and it doesn’t go well. So he’s gone.

Kid burned a ton of bridges. He’s the type that’s going to end up in coaching and this severely damaged any hope he had that Auburn would help him out.

I’m not a through and through Freeze guy, but I’m taking his side on this one.

We don't have the bodies at RB with Robinson out. Henderson or Mabson would have to burn their RS or we leave it up to Cobb and walkons. Sucks though that regardless, that is going to have to happen anyways.

This puts Freeze in a very sticky spot with the RB room and will lead us to only pass the ball more imo. Henderson hasn’t seen the field at all yet (any intel on that?) and Mabson has had a few touches early in the season. Cobb, Jones and Mabson will be the 3 RB we rely on going forward which is not good obviously (and burns Mabson’s RS).

I'm going to try that with my boss tomorrow. I'll still do some stuff, maybe a little work from home when I feel like it until I can find a new job but I'd still like to be paid in the meantime, thanks.

I'll let you guys know how it goes.

It tells me that our offensive schemes suck, and our route trees are worse. Which has been pretty evident watching the games the last three seasons. When you have multiple players going to the same areas on pass plays, you have issues.

When you have multiple QBs and tons of WRs having the same issues, particularly when the players looked great in their old offenses before they came here (see Singleton), it sure as heck isn't a player problem, it's a coaching and scheme problem.

Yeah, Fullwood is probably in that top group of RBs behind Bo in Auburn history. I'd put him in that next group with Brooks, Cribbs, Caddy, and Ronnie from my lifetime. He was electric.

That early whistle against Georgia in the 80s when he popped off what should have been a huge run for a win is still annoying.

It really amazes me we have this issue.

I wish I could say it's because we are afraid to coach up football players but basketball players seem to be able to be coached up to learn spacing just fine.

In Coleman's case it's turning around and running backwards for a 3 yard gain.

It’s coming. Deuce knight just posted on his IG story “what you gone do if it goes down today?” to which damari and nnonye Marcus both reply “slideeee”

It’s over.

It means what are you gonna do if Hugh gets canned today. And slide means they’re leaving.
