Unless this is a typical coach's smoke screen for the media...
My guess is that we’re making a little too much out of a question regarding a backup QB for 2 SEC games

Maybe, but if we actually have a firm lead in the 4th quarter of a game, or the reverse maybe it might be good to get an opportunity for some player development from one of the backups to the backup

I know that Bo can do no wrong in your mind, but yeah, he's done it in nearly every game.
I don't think Finley is gonna be the answer moving forward. But to call him out for something that the other guy does all the time just shows your bias.

I agree, but when it comes to QBs, there are factions of fans and those that seemed to love DD from the minute we signed him, have wanted him in the mix all the way back in the spring and in the fall, when Bo was struggling.
Now that Bo is out, their fervor has escalated!
We are going to have to live and hope that Finley can get us a win Saturday, which will give him some confidence going into the Alabama game.
I would just love to see a ground game improve TBH. That will help out our QBs more than anything.

Wrong. Bo is trying to get out of the pocket. Finley isn’t even making a football move.
I’ve never seen Bo’s back to the LOS unless he was scrambling for his life. Finley wasn’t scrambling for his life and that makes two games in a row.

This may have already been discussed, but the dumbasses on Facebook have said DD has taken all things Auburn related OFF his social media accounts.
Whatever that means..

Got curious so I looked.. doesn't look like he's very active on social media at all. He could just be the type of person that deletes everything and starts fresh every so often.

Probably. But you should see the shite show going on with all the Facebook Auburn Groups. Hahaha!!

DD will not be on the roster next year. He is 5th string behind a walk-on. (4th if you do not count Bo)
Doesn't fit what Hars wants in a QB.

Just to spice things up, Washington is wanting to interview Harsin.

I think this is in. DD skills do not match the kind of offense Harsin and Bobo want to run.

I can certainly see Petersen putting in a good word for him. Although he was also behind them hiring Lake, so they may take any recommendations with a big can of Morton's.

If Harsin leaves we are in a bad spot. This is not a good year to be hiring a coach

Harsin isn’t going to leave. I don’t see him leaving at all even if he did underestimate the job.

Don't know the last time a coach left Auburn on their own. That would be the most Auburn thing ever. Don't see him leaving unless that is his dream job

“Iron Mike” Donahue (API HC from 1904-1922) left to take the LSU HC job, where he failed to replicate his gridiron success and retired after the 1927 season.

Good.
Hire Freeze or Chizik.
