I use SlingTV ($25/month) and OTA channels. Missed the Alabama St game, but oh well.

Why did you have to miss the Al St game if I may ask? You can log onto the WatchESPN app with SlingTv. And furthermore you have ESPN3 with sling right? That is the way we watched the game.

I hope watchESPN quality has improved. Last year it would freeze or stop all together, especially during 'bigger' games.

I had to use it for the Alabama State game since I have Youtube TV, and it hasn't. Youtube TV is great, it just sucks you have to use the WatchESPN app for the smaller games.

Also use reddit a lot and it works for every sport. Just go to google and type in "reddit college football streams", or "reddit nba streams".. works for NFL, MMA, Boxing, MLB, soccer, college basketball, etc.

Same. I had a small lag too. It’s impossible to watch and keep up with the game thread.

I am happy with YouTube TVthough.

The only thing about most of those reddit streams is that they make all my security software on my computer do this:

Can someone explain the Reddit thing? Is there a particular subreddit to look for? For certain events I go out to Periscope, but they are really good about shutting down streams lately.

This is maybe the most impressive thing about YouTube TV to me. For a stream, they are not that far behind. With Sling or WatchESPN you have to avoid following the game threads because everything is spoiled.

Earlier this year during the Bama-UGA game, i heard my neighbors going ape shite a solid 2 minutes before I saw the actual pass play to win that game.

If using the cfbstreams subreddit, make sure you have ublock origin or another good ad blocking add-on. It's not going to catch everything on those streaming sites but it will make them a lot easier to navigate. Also, use common sense, don't download anything. If it asks you to download something, move along to another link.
