If one part of your game plan isn’t working, have the ability to adapt and game plan to put your players in a situation to succeed.

Oh, develop a fricking QB for once.

He must be kind, he must be witty
Very sweet and fairly pretty
Take us on outings, give us treats
Sing songs, bring sweets
Never be cross or cruel
Never give us castor oil or gruel
Love us as a son and daughter
And never smell of barley water

Besides the everyday basics:

It'd be extremely nice (and a contract fire-able offense) for a coach to not take ownership for your general everyday loss and to perpetually make excuses or play the blame game.

The play book has to have at least a second page (even if not used).

. . . and no sweater vests ever again.

Do you guys think Travaris Robinson would get an interview? Well thought of young guy.

why interview him? He has been a DC for one coach, and he would be getting his feet wet at AU?

No thanks. I am sure he would be a great DC for us, whoever is the next coach...but I don't want to use Auburn as a learning football program...

Good lord, no. Guy’s barely even been a DC and his defense sucks

Ironically, we wouldn't be having this conversation at all if he had won 5 of these 10 games:

2014 TAMU
2014 Wisconsin
2015 Arky
2015 UGa
2016 UGa
2017 LSU
2018 MSU
2018 Tennessee
2019 Florida
2019 Minnesota

Interesting. One of the MAIN complaints people have with Gus is how he has destroyed the series lead vs some less than stellar UGA teams and the fact he has an absolutely putrid record vs our 3 main rivals.

I can point to 7 games on that list that have NOTHING to do with our 3 main rivals. Literally only 3 games you listed are vs our rivals...

So yes, I think we absolutely WOULD be having this very conversation had he even won 7 of those 10.
