I showed you a nice video from that year against Lincoln Riley. It should’ve got your dick hard. Instead you wanna fight me because I have names.

If "someone" at AU is mad for a DC Muschamp leaving for an SEC HC job, they are an idiot.

2 year commitment. Bailed after 1. Not saying it’s right or wrong but people with power control the purse

Muschamp probably turned us down because most DC’s don’t want to be handed a raw DL coach from Liberty. JMO

So then why were two SEC West head coaches battling it out to hire a guy who has zero SEC experience? Ask yourself that question and you may start answering some of your own questions.

Both Freeze and Pittman have had a lot of success recently with hiring staffs. For those two to both be going after a "fired" DC is not a meaningless data point. You can actually read into the Baylor stuff if you want; it is clear that there was a disagreement between Roberts and Aranda - it was not a "this guy is incompetent, get him out of here" situation.

So is Heard officially the WR coach or still waiting for that?

Muschamp wasn’t asked. He’s not welcome here. He burned us leaving for SC. It hasn’t been forgotten when we bailed him out of the shitter

He was absolutely asked, and the idea that people are mad that he left for another SEC head coaching job is silly. What, you think SEC head coaching opportunities pop up all the time for these guys?

Yes, he "promised" to be here for 2+ years, but anyone with common sense understands that he couldn't pass up that opportunity. Nobody thought he'd get another SEC head coaching offer that quickly.

I don’t make the rules on who is welcomed back or not. All I know is that heard it would not be Muschamp and that was the reason why

I already answered that question. Look at where Arky sits statistically in the defensive team stats and you’d see Roberts is a clear upgrade. However, we had an atrocious year on defense too but still sat right there with Baylor in many defensive metrics.

Freeze is hiring his own coaches. As proven by the fact that he just hired Roberts, and not Kelly.

This is true.

I will be supporting Roberts though. Some people need to hear that again.

Oh, right...Arkansas had a really really bad DC (the guy who got another HC job who has a history of elite performance) because they had one bad season in a year wherein they had a million injuries. So by that explanation, they replaced a really bad DC with a slightly less bad DC!

Odom is a damn good DC. Disagree with you on that one.

Shouldn't we be thrilled that's the case?

I am curious why Aranda fired Roberts… may never get a straight answer…. He may have wanted to get more recruiting pop, seeing as Aranda can call the defense. There was maybe too much overlap with Roberts.

Pretty sure everybody is happy he’s getting to pick his own guys.

Doesn’t mean they are the right guys though.
