1. Rocky and Jones always give the new coach too much leash and admittedly I’ve done that in the past too.
2. Rocky isn’t calling him out and saying Scoper is wrong. He’s saying quit being a little bitch that is “quitting Auburn football” and then keep posting negative shite. Either be done or don’t be done and quit crying like a bitch when things go wrong.
3. Hires have been underwhelming. Everybody has to quit listening to the press conferences. Freeze is still calling plays. He didn’t have big name coaches on the line. He’s probably not sorry for his past but hopefully he's learned to not do it.
4. I still think most likely case under Freeze is slightly worse results than Gus.

How the hell has Hugh hired a DL, DB, and LB coach but no DC?

I hope it's him locking guys in and the coordinators can't be announced yet. I hope we aren't leaving the coordinator roles open in cost cutting move

I could see why we waited until today but don’t see why we’d wait past today?
Everybody’s done except NFL and I don’t think we’d wait until the NFL season is over.

Yeah, AU better be putting out some press releases on hired coaches soon or the natives are going to get very restless. I'm already semi-melting at the pace of all this. It's not like we can afford to waste time. These dudes need to be crootin' and evaluating the portal and there's no one there to do it at the moment.

This is what gets me, I thought for sure the coordinators would be in place then worry about the position guys. We don’t even know what defense Freeze will be running.

So Odom didn't get the Tulsa job and the CC board is saying Grantham according to some 247 guy.
Either way is not great. Odom used to be good, but I know Arky fans have just about had their fill of him. He's the better choice of the two though.

Yeah, I’m guilty of giving a longer leash.
I just figure I’m not going to melt over every move and trash Freeze and others. What’s the point of pining for Prime? Hell, I even was open to him coming, but he isn’t.
Everything will be proven one way or the other.
It’s not like Freeze is getting fired next week. Now, do I have concerns early on with some of these coaches? Sure do and did, but I am not going to share it in every post I make.
Freeze’s biggest frick up to date? Saying his phone is blowing up with some big names or something of that nature. He should have done a deeper dive Into our fan base before saying stuff like that. Expectations jump and then you better deliver.
But if someone thinks Freeze is the wrong guy in his first to second week, minus the moral outraged fans and those that never thought he was very good to begin with, then I don’t know what to say. Hope freeze proves everyone wrong.

Odom has been there for 3 seasons, and the first 2 of those produced very efficient defences. They had a lot of personnel issues this past season defensively which contributed to their regression. Generally speaking, a very good coordinator doesn't magically become bad overnight.

That's fine, but if you listen to general fan opinion on defense you'll quickly learn that the answer to everything is to just blitz on every down. In other words, there isn't much deep analysis going on.
They had a lot of injuries this past season. "Adjusting" sounds nice on paper, but if several of your best players are out, what would you like to adjust to?

I don't understand the melting over the names so far.
I get we want it finalized for recruiting, but the HC should get to pick his guys. Let him rise or fall on his own choices.
