6 solo tackles, 2 TFL, 1 Sack and was in the backfield all game.
I believe that he eclipsed both Big Kat and TD Moultrey's career statistics in one game. I feel like we found our new Buck.

Played an excellent game. Exciting young talent. Will get more explosive as well.

He’s good.
Really missed Britt.
Has Tutt regressed?

Tutt definitely isn't playing like he did last year. Sure Waddle abused him last year but I think that had to do with Tutt getting banged up on the big punt return.
Not sure the issue this year but he's getting torched a lot and playing soft in coverage as well.
Tennison needs some snaps.

In all honesty, he is playing the same as he always has, IMO. He will make a play here and there, let you know about it. Then he will get picked on quite often, for much success from the other side.

Pappoe is incredibly fast.
The amount of plays where he gets fooled and flows to the wrong direction and makes it back across to be in on or make the tackle is crazy.
Once he figures out more of the instinctual and fundamental part of being a LB, he may be an all-time great.

There were at least two times where he either didn't make his read fast enough or took a false step and got beat to the edge by the Smith kid playing RB. He was just a step behind him on the two plays I'm thinking of and they both ended up keeping their drive going for 10-15 yard gains.

Wooden plays better outside. We need guys to step up on the interior

I thought Walker did ok. Need Burks and Butler to get in there. Newkirk and Truesdell are playing way to many snaps it seems.

Pappoe is just a great athlete playing LB right now. Only a true sophomore.
Kinda reminds me of Karlos Dansby. He came to AU as a WR and was a big freak athlete. Took him a few years to figure out how to play LB, but he ended up being great and played 12 or 13 years in the NFL.

Yeah Walker did play well. Forgot about him until I heard his name called last night. D. Hall played good too.
Couldn't agree more with needing some of the interior guys to step up.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who sees the mistakes OP constantly makes. The two long runs in the UK game, ... Pappoe... several runs last night,... Pappoe... he is a great athlete, no doubt,... but he is by no means the caliber LB that people try to hype him up to be (not yet anyway)

Agree. Saw Butler get in on some plays so now he is getting reps. Not sure how many snaps he played.
Without Newquirk in there, we don't have that heavy DT we need to stop or slow down those power runs from teams with big OL or big backs. Butler needs to fill that need too.

I fear “we don’t have” even with Newquirk in there
