Idc if he told us to gfos id offer him the offer he can’t refuse again and again. He’s the best option everything else is hoping for it to come together.

Florida is so far behind in facilities and NIL. I think we can get him.

There is no such thing as a safe hire. Even guys like Lincoln Riley who on paper should be safe can fail badly.

Hiring head coaches has a high element of randomness that nobody wants to admit. Don't forget that Gene Chizik who was one of the most head-scratching hires in SEC history ended up winning a title and assembling the roster for the 2013 team as well lol.

All you can do is keep trying until the right guy falls into place.

I’m still for the boosters to tell Hugh to keep playing golf with them, hire a real OC, and get tf out of his way. Freeze would be great if he stepped back into the CEO style and concentrated on recruiting.

Kiffin just beat LSU with a division 2 transfer QB. It's all coaching. But I don't think he will come.

I would throw money at Dillingham. He is an alum of AZ State so it might be hard. Dilly was at AU for a season under Gus so he knows the place.

I wouldn't be opposed to Gundy either. He left OSU after making it public they didn't want to spend NIL money. He wouldn't have as much a problem with that at AU.

Other than that, I guess there's some up and coming OCs to look at.

People pretty much know what they will get with Kiffin. High floor, high offense, low ceiling. I am all for it.

Kiffen or bust for me. Clark Lea I could be optimistic about. Other than that maybe a Lincoln Riley..

We can't keep giving these guys multiple mulligans for bad seasons. Freeze is on borrowed time now.

No to Riley. He has been very average at USC. He would get killed in SEC.

I am sick. Sick of losing but more importantly of feeling we have no chance against a decent team. We have elite receivers but refuse to throw the ball to them. An "elite line" that can't block unless they hold and commit false start after false start. A QB who does not throw interceptions because he will not throw the ball period. Offensive coaches who call the dumbest damn plays and can't design passing routes. Damn I am sick of this chit

Let it all out baw. You will feel better. I am here for you.

It should be an up to date defensive guy this time and let him hire a top current OC with a modern offense.

The whole washed-up offensive guru trying to run his offense that worked 6+ years ago should not be an option.

The fact that one of you listed Mike Gundy is fricking wild.

Riley I could say USC is in a bad way in the big 10 with travel and logistics. They are suffering in the NIL in a way Auburn isn’t. He did well at Oklahoma. I’d take him as option 2b

Riley has never won a meaningful game.

You are right Lanier. Been holding that in for several years and it does feel better to let it out.

This might be the last day I care about college football. Between Auburn’s ineptitude since firing Gus and the fricking NIL bullshite, I’m not sure I can take anymore.

Riley is a fundamentally broken HC. He is completely incapable of fielding a team with any sort of defense. This would NOT work.

Debatable but outside of him nick saban or Marcus freeman maybe idk who I’d be optimistic about.
