And it doesn't matter anyway. A&M lost all of their 5-stars when they went from Fisher to Elko. The Portal also means that the right new coach can bring his own guys in, like Elko did. The only 5-stars from Fisher's tenure who stayed were guys that were busts and were buried on the depth chart (or were just rotational pieces).

We could do so much worse than Mullen. Better at UF than Hugh was at OM. Took miss state to heights they’d never seen, albeit brief. Seems to be rolling out in Nevada right now. Like you said, if we surround him with recruiters and the right people he could do well here. At least we would have a competent offense for once. He seems to have adapted his spread style to modern times.

I don't know much about him but trying to be realistic, does Blake Baker have the look of a future HC? Young, SEC ties, defensive coach, has turned around LSUs D pretty quickly.
