Offensive analyst Jeff McDaniels will help Williams with the running backs, serving as the co-RB coach.

Will Friend will move into the offensive coordinator role to replace Kiesau.

Ike Hilliard will continue to coach wide receivers and also serve as co-OC to Friend.

Offensive analyst Kendall Simmons will help Friend with the offensive line as co-OL coach.

Joe Bernardi Jr, Friend’s offensive line assistant, will move into the role of tight ends coach.

Offensive analyst Mike Hartline will coach quarterbacks.

This could get interesting, or be absolutely horrid. Friend does a LOT of NFL/NCAA study and probably has a mini playbook ready to go.

Will Friend was OC at Colorado State and actually had some success there.

Sorry, I’m a little frightened when OL coaches call plays…having PTSD from the Hugh Nall days.

After what I've seen so far, I'd be excited about a dude they pulled out of the stands to coach.

I would’ve liked to have seen Hartline get a shot at OC/co-OC. He has three years experience of play calling/prep albeit at a D-2 school.

He's going to have to mostly stick with what we have. It would be near impossible to insert more than a handful of new plays/schemes mid season.

You could see a big increase in say, read mesh or something along those lines.
